El lago

Hola guapetones ¿Cómo han estado? Espero de maravilla, yo tengo muchas cosas que contarles sobre lo que hice esta semana, pues fue algo diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrada...salí de la ciudad y esta vez no fue una playa o una ciudad grande, el destino fue Valle de Bravo y aunque debo decir que en un principio no tenía expectativas del lugar, porque las ciudades tan pequeñas o pueblos no me gustan, pero al final me divertí, conocí un poco más de México y su bellezas naturales;  los invito a visitar y deleitarse en estos sitios.

Algunas características/datos del Lago:

•  El lago de Valle de Bravo es un lago artificial, que fue producto de la construcción de una presa en 1947.
• La presa de Valle tiene una capacidad de 457 millones de metros cúbicos, su profundidad es de 39 metros en su nivel máximo.
• El nivel de agua del lago fluctúa durante el año, dependiendo de las precipitaciones y extracciones realizadas.
• Generalmente el nivel del lago comienza a subir a partir de septiembre y su nivel máximo es en octubre.
• El nivel más bajo que alcanza el lago es de marzo a junio cuando reinicia la época de lluvias.
• Apróximadamente desde la década de los 70's se ha perdido cerca del 20% de la superficie boscosa y esta es la que alimenta a la presa por medio de sus escurrimientos. Por esto, la tala ilegal y la deforestación son los peores enemigos del lago.

•  The Valley dam has a capacity of 457 million cubic meters, its depth is 39 meters at its highest level.
• The lake water level fluctuates over the year depending of precipitation and extractions performed.
• Usually the lake level starts to rise from September and its highest level is in October.
• The lowest level that reaches the lake is from March to June when the rainy season restarts.
• Approximately since the early 70's has lost about 20% of forest area and this is the dam that feeds through its runoff. So, illegal logging and deforestation are the worst enemies of the lake.
